Website inspiration

Friday, 1 April 2011

Little Peche will hopefully be getting a website re-vamp this summer with plans to have a separate website and blog. So I've been having a look at my favourite websites for some inspiration and ideas, here are some I find particularly lovely. My screenshots don't do them full justice though, so go and take a real look at the links below.

Magpie and Rye has a beautiful website to compliment their stunning jewellery.

I love the bold font and simplistic web design of fashion label Feral Childe. It lets the lovely statement jewellery speak for itself.

Cheri Messerlis' website makes the most of her nicely photographed pieces with large product images. Cute logo too.

The inspirational Red Velvet team recently had a website revamp which led to a much more simple and sophisticated design yet they have still managed to communicate the quirky, fun personality of the brand with the cute vintage-inspired font.

The pretty Ainokainen website not only looks good but also represents the handmade, eco-friendly ethos of modifying a piece of old clothing into something completely new. The designer Netta Kervinen draws inspiration from flea markets, old stories and nature, and this really comes across in the aesthetic of the website.

I love the attention to detail of The Vamoose website with it's lovely layout and the use of colour. I need a piece of this jewellery. Unbelievably beautiful and handmade in the UK.
